I bow my head in shame

On the eve, so to speak, of Britain’s EU membership referendum, Norwegian politicians earnestly discuss whether or not a Brexit would benefit Norway’s prospects of negotiating an improved arrangement with the EU.

Because, as we all know, if any country needs and deserves advantages, that would be poor, poor Norway.

This blogger, for one, bows his head in profound shame, but would like to point out that not all of us think like that, just the majority, deciding against a Norwegian EU membership some 22 odd years ago.

It is my sincerest hope that the British won’t make the same mistake in tomorrow’s referendum.
